THE PLACEMENT CELL
The Placement Cell of SXUK endeavours to bridge the expectations of the students vis-a -vis the industry as a whole. The students dream to be associated with the best business houses and on the other hand the business houses intend to employ the best minds.
The cell undertakes an array of activities to cement students-corporate relationship viz. resume writing workshops, GD Session, mock interviews and other allied activities. These activities are undertaken in collaboration with the stalwarts from leading corporate houses.
The university attempts to help each student in exploring placement opportunities by inviting various companies for campus recruitment of students, who are in the verge of completion of their under graduate/post graduate degree courses.
The final placements are a result of very systematic interaction with the industry and continuous career counselling of the students. Right from the beginning of the programme, students are continuously counselled with regard to his/her career aspirations and options, which in turn is vigorously followed up with the potential companies for participating in the placement programme of the Institute. This not only helps the students in getting their 'dream' jobs but also assists the visiting placement companies in identifying the 'right' candidate for their organization.

STUDENTS REGISTRATION FOR PLACEMENT
Students who are in their final year and interested in availing placement support from the university, will have to register themselves for placement. Those who do not wish to avail any kind of placement support need not register themselves. Registration for placement is done by paying placement registration fees decided by the university during the academic year.
Once an organization shows interest in recruitment from the university, the students are asked to register their interest for the job. An email informing about the job opening and its details will be shared with the student coordinators and placement committee. A separate notice shall be put up on the notice-board relating to job vacancy. Placement cell will try to get as much details as possible about the job profile. Only students who register for that particular job profile will be considered for the job opening and their names and CVs will be shared with the company. It will be the responsibility of a student to keep his/her resumes updated with placement cell.
