As a proud member of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes), Xavier Business School (XBS) under the umbrella of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata offers a two-year full-time MBA programme (AICTE Approved) with specializations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources (HR), and Business Analytics.

Since its inception in August 2018, XBS has been committed to delivering quality management education and shaping responsible business leaders and entrepreneurs. Rooted in the Ignatian charism, our focus extends beyond academic excellence to developing competent, committed, and service-oriented professionals who make meaningful contributions to society. Upholding the Jesuit motto ‘Nihil Ultra’, we emphasize excellence, ethical leadership, and innovation in management education.
Our MBA curriculum is designed in alignment with contemporary industry demands, integrating theoretical foundations with practical exposure. We foster critical and creative thinking through interactive learning beyond the classroom. A distinguished faculty comprising experienced academicians and industry professionals ensures a dynamic and insightful learning experience. Students engage in G-Talks, panel discussions, workshops, and seminars, gaining real-world perspectives that prepare them for leadership roles.

Strengthening its academic credentials, the MBA Programme has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for three years (2025-2028)—a recognition of its commitment to excellence and industry relevance.

To cater to working professionals, XBS introduced the Executive MBA Programme in 2024, designed for weekend learning. With classes held on Saturdays and Sundays, this programme enables professionals to balance career growth with academic advancement.
