Calculation of SGPA and CGPA
- Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA): The full form of SGPA is Semester Grade Point Average. It is calculated by dividing the total credit points earned by a candidate in one Semester by the total credit points in that Semester. SGPA shall be rounded off to two decimal places.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): The full form of CGPA is Cumulative Grade Point Average. It is calculated by dividing the total credit points earned by a candidate in the entire course by the total credit points in that course. CGPA shall be rounded off to two decimal places.
Formula Used:
- Where Ci is the credit earned for the course i in any Semester, Gi is the Grade Point obtained by a candidate for the course i, and n is the number of courses passed in that Semester.
