SXUK conducts virtual training programme to promote research quality
To maintain the quality of research, Fr. Arrupe Central Library of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK) in collaboration with the university’s Research Development Committee on Intellectual Property Rights, Legal and Ethical Matters, Research conducted a virtual training programme on Turnitin Feedback Studio on January 20, 2023.
Mr. Akshay Prasanna, a senior consultant of Turnitin, PES- South Asia conducted the training session. He narrated the functions of Turnitin feedback studio and differentiated between plagiarism and similarity index.
He further discussed process of plagiarism test, creating virtual classroom through the software, and various other assessment procedures. The programme ended with an interactive session with the students.
