Research Advisory Council (RAC) and Research & Development (R&D) Cell
Quality research and innovation within the Higher Education Institution emphasises on research, innovation, and technology development. The integration of research, innovation and technology development is the foundation of self-reliant India. Establishment of Research Advisory Council (RAC) and Research & Development Cell (R&D) by St. Xavier's University Kolkata is a step that will enable attainment of targets of Atma-Nirbhar Bharat. RAC and R&D Cell will play a pivotal role in catalysing multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary and translational research culture, as mandated by National Education Policy 2020. St. Xavier's University Kolkata is a system builder in direct interaction with societal partners, conducive to regional innovativeness.
St. Xavier's University, Kolkata (SXUK) has formed a Research Advisory Council (RAC). This RAC is chaired by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor and acts as the apex body of the R&D Cell. Under this chair is the Director of R&D Cell, who also heads various committees, in order to drive the governance.
