Students of St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata (SXUK), visited Diamond Beverages Pvt. Ltd. at Taratala, Kolkata on September 25, 2026, to gain first-hand insights into industrial operations and business management.

A total of 40 students of seventh semester of B.Com programme participated in the industrial visit. Mr. Indranil Datta of Diamond Beverages welcomed the students and guided them through the facility, explaining various aspects of the company’s operations. The interaction familiarised students with industrial processes, quality management, packaging, distribution, teamwork and professional work culture, offering practical insights into the functioning of the beverage industry.

Students participated enthusiastically, finding the visit both informative and engaging. The experience enabled them to relate their academic knowledge to real-world business practices. Dr. Dyuti Chatterjee, faculty member of the university coordinated the visit.
