Ms. Anuradha Priya Raha is currently engaged as Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Management at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. She holds a strong foundation in corporate finance and academia, having completed both her Graduation (2015) and Post Graduation (2018) in Accounting and Finance from the prestigious St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. Elevating her academic credentials, she qualified the NTA-UGC-NET in Commerce in 2020.
Ms. Raha brings a valuable blend of industry and teaching experience to her role. Prior to transitioning into full-time academia, she completed three years of rigorous corporate training as an Article Trainee at U.K. Bhowal & Associates. She then entered higher education, serving as a College Whole-Time Teacher at The Bhawanipur Education Society College for 1.5 years before joining St. Xavier's University Kolkata. She has demonstrated strong institutional leadership, notably organizing the Inter-College Case Competition on Mergers & Amalgamations ("The Game Changer") for the Department of Commerce at The Bhawanipur Education Society College in February 2022. She was invited as a distinguished Jury Member to evaluate the PowerPoint Competition conducted by the ICSI-EIRC in 2024.
Ms. Raha is currently pursuing her Ph.D. program in Commerce from St. Xavier's University Kolkata. As an active researcher and contributor to commercial literature, Ms. Raha has authored academic chapters for Vandana Publications and has published research papers in several reputed, peer-reviewed national and international journals. Ms. Raha has also presented papers at prestigious National and International Conferences hosted by St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata.
