Biographical Sketch

Ms. Anwesha Maiti is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Language and Communication Studies at St. Xavier’s University. Prior to joining SXUK, she has taught in the masters programme in the Departments of English in Debra Thana Sahid Kshudiram Smriti Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous) and Midnapore College (Autonomous) respectively, and as a Soft-skills instructor at IIIT Hyderabad. She completed her Bachelor’s degree with honours from the Department of English and Other Modern European Languages, Visva Bharati, and obtained an MA in English as well as an M.Phil in Translation Studies from the University of Hyderabad.
