Aparajay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics under the Faculty of Arts and Social Studies at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. He did his Ph.D. from Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), Chennai. He completed his M.A. and M.Phil. from Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP) at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), with a first class. He did his B. Sc. in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, under University of Calcutta, with a first class. He has more than 10 years of experience as a full-time/ part-time researcher in various areas of economics working at M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati, IIT Madras, Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), and Collaborative Research and Dissemination (CORD India). He worked at M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) as a Scientist for one year.
