Faculty Profile

Ami Jain started her academic career as an Assistant Professor in S. D. Jain Girls’ College, Dimapur, Nagaland in September 2008. Ami Jain credits her entire academic life to S.D. Jain Girls’ College from where she pursued her Pre-University (Commerce) and B.Com (Accounting and Finance Hons.)  degrees (1999-2004). She took a deviation from academics and worked in a corporate world to gain field experience along with working at various NGOs in different capacities. Furthermore, she completed her M.Com from IGNOU with Diploma in International Business Operations. She qualified UGC-NET in 2012. She has been awarded the Ph.D degree on 11th January 2022 by University of Calcutta. She is a State Rank holder securing 3rd Position in Pre-University Examination, 9th Position in B.Com Examination and 4th Position in B.Ed Examination conducted by Nagaland University.
