Dr. Asif Iqubal Shah, Assistant Professor in Law, is a dedicated academician and researcher with a strong background in law, holding an LL.M. in Tort & Crime and a Ph.D. in Law from KIIT Law School, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. With over eleven years of teaching experience in renowned law colleges and universities, he has established himself as an expert in his field, specializing in Tort & Crime, Penology, and Criminal Justice Administration. His research has been published in several SCOPUS-indexed journals from Australia, London, and Malaysia. He was associated with the Department of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (Murshidabad Centre) prior to joining St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. He had the privilege of working as a Legal Researcher with Hon'ble Justice Indira Banerjee at the Appellate Side of Calcutta High Court, and has also enhanced his legal skills through various internships at Law Firms, NGOs, and senior Advocates during his graduation from the Department of Law, University of Calcutta. Currently, he brings his expertise, research, and teaching experience to Xavier Law School, St. Xavier's University, Kolkata.
