Dr Damayanti Sen is currently appointed as Assistant Professor in Economics under Faculty of Arts and Social Studies at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. She completed her schooling in 2005 from South Point High School and thereafter graduated in 2008 with B.Sc Honours in Economics from Presidency College, Kolkata under University of Calcutta. Her aptitude for Mathematical Economics and Econometrics motivated her to pursue her Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. After completing her M.S.Q.E degree from ISI, Kolkata, in 2010, she qualified WBSET and UGC-NET and joined the teaching profession. She has over ten years’ of teaching experience. She completed her PhD from RBU in 2021. She was associated as a post-doctoral fellow (Social Science) at WBNUJS in 2023.
