Dr. Pratyusha Das is an Associate Professor at Xavier Law School, St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. She has worked as a Dean of Xavier Law School, St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Since 2012 she has been teaching as an Assistant Professor in various Universities which includes KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Amity University Kolkata, West Bengal and also at Xavier Law School, St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Dr. Das performed various administrative roles. Presently, she is the Professor-In-Charge of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Legal Aid Clinic at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. She authored a book titled ‘Forensic Evidence: Admissibility in Criminal Justice System’. Prior to her appointment as an Assistant Professor (Law) she worked as a Project Fellow in the UGC-UPE Major Research Project. Titled: “Use of Forensic Science in the Administration of Justice in India: A futuristic Study”. She has presented papers at various conferences and seminars. She has guided and supervised dissertations of graduate students submitted as a part of their LL.M. dissertations. She is also supervising doctoral candidates.
