Dr. Ritu Pareek is an academic and researcher in the field of Commerce, Finance, and Sustainability, currently serving as Assistant Professor at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. Her research primarily focuses on Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainability, ESG practices, and emerging interdisciplinary themes connecting business and society.
She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from Vidyasagar University and was awarded the University Gold Medal for securing first position in Post graduation. She was also awarded the ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship by Indian Council of social Sciences Research for completion of her Ph.D. work. She is also a recipient of the ICAI International Research Award (Gold), recognizing her contributions to academic research.
With publications indexed across reputed academic platforms and an active scholarly presence on ORCID and Web of Science, her work engages with contemporary issues in sustainability, corporate behavior, financial decision-making, and responsible business practices.
