Dr. Ruchita Burman is a distinguished academician, researcher, and academic administrator with over 16 years of experience in teaching, research, curriculum development, and institutional leadership. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor – Marketing at Xavier Business School, St. Xavier’s University, where she actively contributes to teaching, research mentoring, academic governance, quality assurance, and institutional development initiatives. Recognized for her research-oriented and student-centric approach, she has consistently promoted academic excellence and industry relevance in management education.
Dr. Burman earned her Doctorate in Retail Management from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. Her academic and research contributions demonstrate a strong integration of theoretical rigor and managerial relevance, particularly in the fields of Retail Management, Consumer Behaviour, Services Marketing and Marketing Management. Over the years, her research interests have expanded to include Sustainable Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and entrepreneurship-related studies, enabling her to address emerging business trends and evolving societal challenges within a rapidly transforming marketplace.
An active scholar and prolific researcher, Dr. Burman has published extensively in reputed peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at several national and international conferences.
