Biographical Sketch

Dr. Siddhant Chandra is an accomplished academic and legal scholar whose interdisciplinary educational journey reflects a deep engagement with law, governance, and legal education. He completed his graduation in Zoology from St. Columba’s College, Hazaribagh, before transitioning into the field of law through his LL.B. from the prestigious Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, New Delhi. His early professional engagement included legal practice before the District Courts of Delhi and the Delhi High Court, where he gained valuable exposure to litigation and the practical functioning of the justice delivery system.

Driven by a strong commitment to advanced legal studies and academic inquiry, he pursued his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad. He further strengthened his interdisciplinary expertise by obtaining a Master of Business Laws (MBL) from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. Dr. Chandra earned his Doctorate from The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata, one of India’s leading institutions for legal research and scholarship.

With nearly eleven years of teaching experience across both State and Private institutions, Dr. Chandra has contributed significantly to legal education through teaching, academic mentorship, and research-oriented engagement with contemporary legal issues.
