Dr. Trisha Bakshi is a qualitative sociologist by training. Her area of specialization is sociology of ageing with a specific focus on gerontology as a pertinent and emerging area of research interest. Her peer-reviewed publication records span publishers like SAGE, Taylor & Francis, the Indian Journal of Gerontology, etc. As an academic professional with years of progressive teaching and research experience, she has proven ability to mentor students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, deliver lectures to doctoral scholars, design a rigorous sociology curriculum for the B.A. L.L.B. course, and contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary academic discourses. She is UGC-NET qualified and a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awardee.
