Dr. Tuhin Utsab Paul is an accomplished academician, researcher, and higher education leader with over a decade of experience in engineering education, institutional governance, quality assurance, and academic administration. He currently serves as the Dean of the Xavier School of Engineering and Technology (XSET), Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata. In these roles, he is leading the establishment of the University's engineering school while spearheading institutional quality initiatives, accreditation, and strategic academic development.
Prior to his present assignments, Dr. Paul served as the Dean of Science, HoD of Computer Science, and Assistant Registrar at SXUK, demonstrating exceptional leadership across academic and administrative domains.
Dr. Paul earned his Ph.D. (Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech. in CSE from the University of Calcutta, securing First Class and 9th Rank in his Master's programme. His academic and administrative interests encompass Image Processing, Data Analytics, Algorithms, engineering education, AI in education, quality assurance, and institutional transformation.
