Dr. Tutun Mukherjee is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Xavier Business School, St. Xavier’s University. He has more than 11 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Accounting and Finance. He obtained his Ph.D. from The University of Burdwan. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from University of Calcutta. In addition, he earned an MBA in Finance from Pondicherry University and a PGDFM from Annamalai University. He has also qualified the UGC-NET and WB-SET examinations in Commerce conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC), respectively.
Dr. Mukherjee’s research interests include corporate governance, ESG and sustainability, corporate financial distress, intellectual capital, managerial biases, and firm performance. He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals, including Financial Innovation (Springer Nature), Global Business Review (SAGE Publications), The Indian Economic Journal (SAGE Publications), and International Journal of Corporate Governance (Inderscience Publishers), among others. His publications reflect his interest in contemporary issues in accounting, finance, and corporate management.
He has actively participated in and presented research papers at several national and international conferences, seminars, and academic forums. Dr. Mukherjee is also engaged in research collaborations, academic reviewing, and curriculum development activities, contributing to the advancement of management education and research.
