Dr. Dyuti Chatterjee has been teaching at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata since January 2024.Dr. Chatterjee is an accomplished academician with more than 15 years of extensive teaching and research experience . She holds M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics , qualified the UGC-NET examination and has taught in several reputed institutions of Kolkata in both graduate and post graduate courses .She has served as an examiner for the University of Calcutta (CU) for B.Com and BSc Economics (Honours) examinations and also acted as the moderator for different universities
Dr.Chatterjee has delivered special lectures in different colleges of Kolkata as resource person. Her scholarly contributions include research articles and book chapters in reputed journals and edited volumes. She had earlier worked in a research project at Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. Her academic interests lie in Development Economics. Labour Economics, Gender Economics, Environmental Economics and Econometrics . In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she has contributed to academic administration through participation in various committees .
Dr.Chatterjee ia actively involved in digital education initiatives and has delivered lectures for SWAYAM MOOC courses through online learning platforms. A member of several professional bodies like the Bengal Economic association, she has been invited by All India Radio several times as a panelist to speak on key economic issues. Dr. Chatterjee is currently also serving as a part of the Editorial team of Communique, the newsletter from Indian Association of, Productivity, Quality and Reliability.
