Nandini Bhattacharya is currently Adjunct Professor Department of English Saint Xavier's University New Town Kolkata.
She has 40+ years of teaching experience in tenured positions in Departments of English in West Bengal Education Service ( last taught in Bethune College Kolkata), in West Bengal State University and The University of Burdwan West Bengal, India.
She has taught at the Centre for Comparative Literature in the University of Hyderabad Telangana and as Professor and Head of the Department, in the Central University of Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, on deputation.
She has taught interdisciplinary courses on interface of law and literature in National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
She has served as three times Head of the Department of English and Culture Studies, and on several committees including the Executive Council of the University of Burdwan West Bengal.
She has served as Coordinator UGC DRS II SAP Project 2022-24 and Director Centre for Scottish Studies.
She has supervised 15 PhD scholars and 12 + MPhil scholars.
She has 13+ journal articles, 17 book chapters, 10 books, 19 conference proceedings, and 4 projects till date
