Dr. Neshat Anjum is a faculty in the Management (Finance) at Xavier’s Business School. She earned a PhD in Commerce from Aligarh Muslim University in 2018 and has also qualified UGC -Net (2012). Before joining St Xavier university in 2026, Dr Anjum has served as Assistant Professor in Department of Commerce, Aligarh, Muslim University where she was taking classes for undergraduate and post graduate level. Prior to this she has served as Assistant Professor in IBM, Gla University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. she has also served as guest faculty in Women’s college, Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, visiting faculty at Al-Barkaat Centre of Computer sciences and languages Aligarh. She has qualified Bihar Public Service Commission’s examination for Assistant Professor (Commerce)-2019 securing 2nd rank in the state.
Her idea of classroom teaching is to actively practice interactive lecturing methods and incorporate innovative teaching pedagogy such as case teaching, simulations, and brainstorming exercises for students' holistic learning along with research. The focus of her current research interest lies broadly in Finance. Fintech, Financial management, Cost management in public sector undertaking, financial policy making and working of “Ratna” Category CPSEs in India and Macro-MICROECONOMICS. She has published 09 papers in area of finance in journals of international repute.In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Anjum has undertaken significant administrative responsibilities. She has served as an organising Secretary, Session Chair, Coordinator, Co-coordinator, and Joint organising Secretary for a wide range of international and national conferences, workshops, job fairs, and seminars. She has been instrumental in organising industry-academia interface events, aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. She possesses a great passion for quality research and strongly advocates global interaction, exposure and collaboration in academic pursuits
