New Town/Kolkata: A group of 17 MSW senior students accompanied by two faculty members Prof. Justus Wallis CJ and Dr. Meena of the Department of Social Work, Patrician College of Arts and Science, Chennai visited the Department of Social Work, SXUK here today, 10 March 2026 as a part of their Social Work Educational Tour programme.

The visiting students and members of the faculty spent time with the students and members of the faculty of Social Work, SXUK sharing about each other’s Social Work academic and practice (especially fieldwork) experinces followed by a campus tour. The students are on their Educational tour to Eastern India covering the states of West Bengal and Sikkim visiting various NGOs, Industries, Hospitals and Institutions.

Patrician College of Arts and Science is an institute of higher education by the Brothers of St. Patrick and is located in Chennai and St. Xavier’s University. Kolkata is a University by the Jesuits of Kolkata Province and is located in New Town, Kolkata.
